Christopher Gray, MBA, PMP, CISSP

Christopher Gray joined MD Anderson in 2006 as the manager of server engineering. Currently, he manages the Open Systems Team that supports Linux and UNIX servers and the Business Systems Infrastructure Team. He chairs MD Anderson's Technical Review Committee. For MD Anderson he has managed various teams including windows servers, VMware virtualization, infrastructure applications, and the Radiation Oncology Server Team. He has helped built server infrastructures for many clinical applications including Centricity, TeraMedica Evercore, Cerner Millennium, Elekta MOSAIQ, and Epic. He has helped with technologies like a large VDI build-out for clinical users, and also get to help design MD Anderson’s high-performance computing environment.

Prior to joining MD Anderson, he was a vice-president for Merill Lynch in New York and New Jersey. For Merrill Lynch he managed various teams, infrastructure, and projects.

Christopher joined the board in 2018 as Secretary, and in 2020 he took over the Sponsorship role. In 2021, he became the President-elect, and is scheduled to be the Chapter President from 2023 to 2025.

Christopher is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHMIS) and is a HIMSS Fellow (FHIMSS). In 1993, he graduated from Louisiana State University. In 2015, he graduated from The University of Texas at Dallas completing an MBA with a concentration in information systems. He has been PMI certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) since 2013 and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) since 2019.

He is married and has three children. He is an active volunteer with the Boy Scouts of America. Additionally, he is an American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor.

Lee Ann Kincaid-Wood has been participating in the Houston HIMSS Chapter since 2019 and changing the face of healthcare with Memorial Hermann since 2010. At Memorial Hermann, she is passionate about improving the healthcare experience as the Director of Ambulatory Employee Solutions Team, Bariatric Service Line, and Primary Care Service Line. Lee Ann has an extensive background in health IT including experience with multiple EMR’s, interfaces, FHiR, billing, consumer experience, and person management. Prior to her time with Memorial Hermann, Lee Ann was an Engagement Leader with Cerner Corporation. She holds a Masters in Healthcare Administration from the University of Ohio and an undergraduate degree in Speech Communication with a minor in Corporate Communication from Baylor University.

In addition to the Houston HIMSS Board, she is an active member with the Houston American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) chapter, a senior HIMSS National Member, and is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS).

Past President Regina Wysocki, MS, RN-BC, CPHIMS, SHIMSS Informatics Clinical Applications Specialist Lone Star Communications Regina Wysocki, MS, RN-BC, SHIMSS, CPHIMS, is an Informatics Clinical Applications Specialist with Lone Star Communications in Houston, TX who specializes in optimizing digital healthcare solutions to improve patient care and clinician satisfaction. She is ANCC Board Certified in Nursing Informatics and a Senior member of HIMSS. Regina holds a Masters in Healthcare Informatics from the UT Health School of Biomedical Informatics (SBMI).

As the current President of the Houston Chapter of HIMSS, Regina believes in giving back to the informatics community through service in professional organizations. Regina has also participated on the planning committee for the TX Regional HIMSS Conference for the past three years and is the Communications Chair responsible for the registration website. Manish Kumar has been working as an Advance Quality Specialist in the Texas Children’s Hospital since 2015. He is currently working on surgical quality and outcomes, optimization, and process standardization. He has 25 years of overall experience in healthcare quality improvement/optimization and manufacturing quality/operations globally (China, Taiwan, Mexico, India, and Australia). He wore many hats in managing multiple priorities in a timely manner, always customer/patient-focused, built and maintained robust systems for optimization and better outcomes, effective implementation of standards/quality concepts to achieve accreditation, and performance excellence. He holds a Master of Science in Quantitative Analysis from Linder College of Business, University of Cincinnati, Ohio, and an undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering from Bangalore University, India. He is also a certified Quality Management System Lead Auditor. In addition to HIMSS, he is also a senior member of the American Society for Quality (ASQ) and a member of the Children’s Hospital Association (CSA), and Global Tracheostomy Collaborative (GTC). Manish went through several officer’s leadership training at ASQ and volunteered as Treasurer at the American Society of Quality (ASQ-Cincinnati), Institute of Supply Management (ISM-Cincinnati), and River Oaks Elementary School PTO Houston.

Danny currently is an Engagement Director at NVC Consulting, a firm that implements strategic business and technology consulting solutions across several industries. NVC combines business planning, road mapping, and system optimization with technology solutions to produce enablers and accelerators tailored to the needs of their client.

Before NVC, Danny led the Healthcare Practice at SMX Consulting, a consulting firm committed to facilitating missions, ranging from vital national security initiatives for the Department of Defense (DoD) to ensuring highly secure and compliant solutions in the healthcare sector.

Danny is active in the local Innovation and HealthTech communities and has been part of the HIMSS Houston Chapter since 2014.

 

Adriana Vargas

Adriana Vargas is a graduate student at UT Health School of Biomedical Informatics (SBMI). Her primary interest is in healthcare innovations that will lead to improved patient experiences. Before SBMI, Adriana worked as an Engagement Leader with Cerner Corporation. She has a background in IT project management in the energy and telecommunication industries working in the USA, the Middle East, the United Kingdom, Europe, Asia, and Latin America.

She holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas and an undergraduate degree in Management Information Systems from Baylor University. In addition, Adriana received a Master's Certificate in Health Informatics from the UT Health School of Biomedical Informatics (SBMI), an Executive Certificate in International Marketing from Thunderbird School of Global Management, and a Master's Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University.

Adriana is an active member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) and the Houston Ballet Guild (HBG).

Laura Colvard has been involved with the HIMSS organization since the early 2000's. Laura has been an active member of Houston HIMSS for the last 4 years. She has been working in the healthcare IT field for the last 25 years. She has been successful in improving the workflow of hospitals' clinical and financial systems. She continues to do this with her current role in business development, dedicated to the improvement of access to relevant patient data and assisting the provider community in providing the best care for better outcomes and a healthy community. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Baylor University.

Diana Tran is a Health IT professional for 10+ years, with experience including EHR implementations, workflow enhancements, and optimizing provider engagement. At MD Anderson, she is an Epic multi-certified senior analyst focusing on interoperability and patient experience.  

Diana holds a Master's in Healthcare Administration and a Master's in Business Administration from Texas Woman’s University. Her undergraduate degree is in Human Development and Family Sciences with a focus on Early Childhood from The University of Texas at Austin. She also has a Health Informatics & Health Information Technology (HIHIT) Certificate from UT Austin’s Texas McCombs School of Business.  

In addition to HIMSS, she is the Marketing and Community Outreach Director at Pasadena VISION, PLLC, and an active member of the American College of Healthcare Executives – Southeast Texas Chapter on the Member Advancement and Education and Events committees.  

Diana enjoys traveling, attending shows (Broadway, plays, concerts, etc.), and spending time with her family. She is passionate about building relationships and connecting with others, feel free to connect with her on LinkedIn.
